Time for Training
You don’t have to be an expert watchmaker to be a part of the exciting Time After Time watch sales and repairfranchise program! While opportunities are certainly available to people with previous experience in the watch industry, we also train our franchise owners with everything they need to know to effectively market and repair watches. We gladly welcome watchmakers, horologists and others familiar with the watch industry to invest in a Time After Time retail store. Some may be wondering how they can become a watch repairer. We will train individuals who wish to learn this specialized craft, a skill that will offer them value for years to come.
In your technical training, you will learn to perform many services on different types of watches, including:
- Proper diagnosis of mechanical issues
- Battery replacement
- Metal and leather band replacement
- Metal band sizing (link adjustments)
- Water resistance testing and sealing
Part of your technical training will involve understanding when is the appropriate time to send a watch to the TAT Service Center for more intricate or extensive work.
